On August 20, 2026, the Supreme People’s Court issued the Decision on Amending the Interpretation of the Supreme People’s Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Civil Dispute Cases over Copyright (Fa Shi〔2026〕No. 18, hereinafter referred to as the Decision). Adopted at the 1976th meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court on May 25, 2026, the Decision shall come into force on September 1, 2026.
