Recently, the winners of the 51st Geneva International Inventions Exhibition were officially announced.
Founded in 1973 and co-organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and local authorities, this event is one of the oldest and largest invention exhibitions in the world, known as the "Olympics of Inventions". This year’s edition gathered over 850 institutions from 35 countries and regions, presenting more than 1,000 innovative achievements in a highly competitive environment.
The exhibition’s highest honor, the Grand Prix of the Jury, is awarded under extremely strict criteria: it requires unanimous approval from more than 150 interdisciplinary experts, with an overall acceptance rate of only 2%–3%, making it exceptionally difficult to win.
Huabao New Energy, a leading domestic enterprise in full-scenario household solar-storage solutions, stood out with four cutting-edge innovations, claiming an impressive one gold and three silver awards. Among them, the world’s first XBC aesthetic curved solar tile won the Grand Prix of the Jury — the exhibition’s top honor — while the other three technologies received silver awards, earning high recognition from the international industry.
